Cape Breton Lobster

The Lobster Fishing Area 27 Management Board hired Beach Pea Design to construct a mobile-friendly website that was initially designed to provide tourists to Cape Breton Island with a tool to look up port locations and instructions on how to purchase fresh lobster. The project evolved to include social media account creation and integration, a private members component, information on other seafoods, research and sustainability practices of the fishing area, and an events calendar. In early 2019, we worked with staff to refresh the site again with updated software and a new design.
